Please carefully read our release and waiver agreement. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights. It also deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage, or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing to it you accept and agree to the terms of the release and waiver agreement. You must be over 18 years of age, the parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age, or the legal guardian of an incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person to agree to the release and waiver agreement. In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Fleet Feet Sports Fort Mill Training Programs, its related events, and activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this fun run is significant, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even when arising from the negligence of the releases or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, then I will remove myself from participation and immediately bring such observation to the attention of the Fleet Feet Sports Fort Mill. I understand this Fleet Feet Sports location is an independent licensee of Fleet Feet, Incorporated and independently operates this fun run. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Foerster Sports, LLC d/b/a Fleet Feet Sports Fort Mill, their agents, employees, coaches, volunteers, officers, directors, franchisors, successors, and assigns, the City of Fort Mill, County of York, in SC and any and all sponsors, their representatives, and successors ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I attest that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in a training program, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. Further, I hereby release, provide consent, and authorize, in advance, any such use of my name, photograph, voice, or likeness by the foregoing parties in any manner they deem appropriate and necessary without remuneration to me.
