What is Make It A Mile?
Make It A Mile is a FREE 4-week walking/running program designed to help beginners take the first steps to getting healthy by completing one mile. The program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. At the end of the 4-weeks, you'll be able to run or run/walk 1-mile feeling healthy, happy, and strong.
We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace.
We will meet every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm beginning Monday, February 23rd through Wednesday, March 18th.
We will have a Make It A Mile Celebration on Saturday, March 21st with family, friends and healthy snacks after completing one mile!
