2021 July 4th Beginner 5k Program

Training program for those who plan to start with walking or limited running for the 5k. We will alternate easy walking with brisk walking to light running in interval sessions on Tuesday. Saturday will be intervals too, but with a greater focus on safely extending your distance.
 
It is an 8 week program. The target race will be the Red White and Blue 5k on July 4th at Barefoot Landing.
